Featured Creation Page

We have a new branch of our website up, the Featured Creation Page. Right now it is advertising our new Lego house that I'm very proud of. I'm also eager to sell it though because then I get to create an other house with the profits.  A great new feature on this page is the 360 spin video. Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see the house from every angle possible!

On an other note, I'm still looking for some sets to invest in. I'm looking for about $100 of sealed sets that I can buy that will increase in value as time goes on. I was leaning toward the battlepacks, but I think the markups on those will not be significant to justify the investment.

Today has been a massive day for updating SnazzIndustries! Completely new is the Snazz store. Check it out! Now you can buy all of Snazz Industries merchandise without ever leaving the site. We now have a great new eCommerce system working throughout the site. Like the mosaics? Now you can buy them on-site.  Also, we rolled out a new product to add to our Mosaic line. Now you buy mosaic kits, so you can build the Mosaic yourself. Also, we made the site better looking with a design overview.

Lego Wholesalers?

Does anyone know of some good lego wholesalers? I have been trying to find some for the better part of the week and have come up empty, So far, I have one found one. They currently only have one lego product as of now and they will not reply to my e-mails. Not very good. Still, check them out I guess: empirediscount. Please if you have found a better supplier or are one yourself, do not hesitate to contact me.

Selling on Amazon?

While looking over the various places Snazz Industries sells its goods, Amazon caught my eye. It looks like there are significant price markups there that could make selling very profitable, and it probably receives more traffic than our regular bricklink page. Also, once I start selling there, I can open a store on our very own snazzindustries.com page by refering my own auctions. This would be very useful, and make the whole process easier for snazzindustries customers. Look for this in the near future.

Lego Investment

Snazz Industries is considering acquiring several new sets to be saved and resold. We are in the market of Lego arbitrage (the reselling of goods over multiple platforms). The resale value on Lego sets are generally very high, and the set in question, The Medival Market Village (set 10193) has many rare and valuable pieces. Already, I've noticed trends of spiking prices even though the set is not yet sold out. On Amazon, the set is going for $150, a 50% increase. On bricklink, the average price is $150 as well. (Check out the price guide yourself at http://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?S=10193-1). To test the waters, I'm buying one set on eBay at $95. If all goes well, Snazz Industries will have fresh capital. Not quite sure what to do with it though... Probably invest more.

Finally: House Posted

After a long design and build period, our second custom modular Lego house is released to the public. I was very pleased with the success of the first blue house, so this one was created. Once this one sells, I have a great idea for a third one. This house turned out rather well- the first floor is a different color scheme then the second and third, however as a whole it fits together and is quite cohesive. There are lots of little details hidden in this one- In fact, there are 4 doors, one main, one side, one out to the deck and another out the back. (To see the details and more pictures, click to go to the house's brickshelf page: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=415637) I've made sure the building is completely compatible with all the others. It looks very nice next to the green grocer! If anyone has ideas for the next house I should build, please comment.
